When thinking about creating a container garden, most gardeners focus on visual impact during the growing season. But did you know that you can use containers to add winter interest to your outdoor spaces, too?
This workshop will consist of an educational session on design, plant selection, and care, followed by a hands-on demonstration in which participants will build their own container garden to bring home. All materials will be provided, including gloves. Please wear clothing that can get messy during the hands-on portion of the workshop.

Our native pollinator garden packages are designed to flatten the learning curve for planting and gardening with natives. During this one-day service, we will install a 6’ x 3’ native pollinator garden with pre-selected plants that thrive in our region. Package includes all plants, materials, and labor.

‘Thundercloud’ is a large, impressive cultivar of Panicum virgatum, a native, warm-season bunch grass. This cultivar grows up to 8’ and 3-4’ wide, making it a wonderful screening plant with added wildlife benefit. Bluish-green foliage turns an attractive golden-brown and retains seed panicles in the winter. Tolerates dry sites in full sun once established.
